Area Information

Golf
Located within 5 minutes walk of the hotel is the famous Enniscrone Championship Golf Links. Designed by the legend Eddie Hackett, it stretches 6,857 yards with 27 challenging holes making it a real links treasure to be enjoyed by all golfers.
Other golf courses within the region include Ballina Parklands course, Carne Links in Belmullet and Strandhill and Rosses Point Links in Sligo.

Seaweed Baths
The seaweed baths is approxi-
mately a 5 minute walk from the Ocean Sands Hotel. The seaweed baths provide relief from the painful symptoms of rheumatism and arthritis. The Baths, used by generations of enthusiasts, have won international media acclaim. Lie back and chill as never before! A must for all age groups.

Fishing
Killala Bay is one of the finest fishing locations in Ireland, with a vast variety of fishing and species available. Boats can be chartered from the pier during the summer months. Also available are the very popular Mackerel trips, on which many a visitor to Enniscrone caught their first fish.
The world famous Moy Estuary enters Killala Bay to the west of Enniscrone Beach. Fishing in the Estuary can produce an abundance of Sea Trout, while Flounder and Bass are also available.

Surfing
Renowned for its surf, Enniscrone is the perfect location for beginner and intermediate surfing enthusiasts. With over two miles of excellent surfing conditions on one of the cleanest and safest beaches in Ireland, the surf schools in the area can cater for individuals groups, as well as providing Kids Surf Camps in the summer.

Children’s activities in the area include Waterpoint, a fully equipped water park, health suite and sports centre. The water park includes a 65 metre flume waterslide and children’s pool.
